February 22nd 2021 House Fire
911 calls were received at 2145 hrs reporting a fire on Ross Brook Drive. First arriving units reported heavy smoke showing from the roof of a two story residential structure. All occupants had safely exited the structure prior to Fire Company arrival. First-in companies initiated an aggressive interior attack on the second floor. Crews battled heavy fire which was enhanced by windy weather conditions. Fire eventually caused a partial collapse of a portion of the roof area. There were no injuries reported to occupants or first responders. Units were on scene for several hours. Red Cross was on scene to offer assistance to the homeowners. Thank you to our mutual aid companies that assisted on scene or that provided coverage for the rest of the district while units were tied up on scene.
